Based in Carlisle, our Fitness Centre is for those who would not go to a normal gym!

We have classes suitable for all ages, gender and health conditions. Our main female only circuit features unique hydraulic resistance training equipment, with a changing activity every week to keep your workout fresh and fun! Workout themes are picked by members choice each week. Activities could include, Dance, Weights, Yoga, Rebounding, Strength and Cardio Exercises all performed in-between your circuit of machines. And it only takes 30 minutes!

FEMALE ONLY – INSTRUCTOR LED SESSIONS


These are led by our qualified, friendly instructors. The perfect workout if you are unsure what to do, lack of motivation or just want to exercise with others.

Our instructors will keep you safe, encourage you to work towards your goal and keep you smiling all the way through your workout.

FEMALE ONLY – OWN ACCESS – YOUR OWN PRIVATE GYM


These are sessions where you let yourself into the gym. A staff member may not be present during these sessions but perfect if you want privacy to do your own thing.

Open between 6am-8am and 1:30pm-7pm you can choose when and for how long you want to stay for.

OPEN TO ALL – iCAN BOUNCE


A ‘Laugh a Minute’ Mini Trampoline Workout. Bounce to your favourite songs alongside your instructor and workout friends.

You can choose to bounce with or without a handlebar for stability.

OPEN TO ALL – CHAIR BASED YOGA AND RELAXATION


A relaxed class for those who prefer sitting on a chair. This class is best suited to the less mobile or those with rehabilitation needs. You will benefit from improved mobility, core strength, leg and arm workout and a peaceful 30 minute relaxation session to calm your body and mind.

OPEN TO ALL – FLOOR YOGA


Suitable for beginners but those who can get to the floor with ease. An introduction into the practice of Yoga, great for improving posture, mobility, strength, core and calming your body and mind.

OPEN TO ALL – ACTIVE BREW CREW (ABC)


A chair based exercise class where you will use your whole body including working on mobility, strength, finger, hand and wrist strength and more. This welcoming class offers a workout for those who need a gentle exercise programme. We end each session with a cuppa and chat and form solid friendships with our Active Brew Crew.

BODY COMPOSITION – WEIGH AND MEASURING


Every month using our specialist equipment, our coaches can measure your weight, body fat %, BMI, muscle mass, visceral fat level, metabolic age and water level as well as measuring your body inches. We encourage you start focussing on your health as well as your weight. This is a vital step to understanding your body, how it works and what it needs. The 1:1 chat with your coach will help you to set next months goals, understand your results and plan for your health and fitness journey.

iCAN AT HOME – DIGITAL PLATFORM


A platform built so you can exercise at home, on the go or anywhere you have internet access.

Crammed with workout videos you can follow from your trusted coaches. Health and Wellbeing links to our Podcasts and YouTube videos. This can be purchased on its own for just £10 per year.

Every Friday at Soccer World Carlisle.

Women’s sessions from 5-6pm Mens sessions from 6-7pm. Ideal for beginners and those who want to walk instead of run playing the ‘beautiful game’.

Every Thursday join us for a gentle stroll around Bitts Park with Friends.

Leaving from the WeCan Wellbeing Centre at 9:30am. Then back to the Centre for a cuppa and chat.

What’s stopping you?

I WON'T BE FIT ENOUGH!

Don’t worry, we work with you as an individual, you won’t be judged on others abilities. We will work out together what you feel you can do and help you get to the next step.

Many of our members have never exercised before, or haven’t worked out for a long time.  We work with all abilities and all ages so you are bound to find someone to buddy with who is just like you.

I'M WORRIED I'LL BE THE OLDEST THERE?

We have members from 18-118, so please don’t worry.  

Some are exercising for health or rehabilitation. Others are exercising for weight loss, weight gain or another personal goal. 

We can guarantee our workouts are tailored to suit all ages; we can even guide you to attend workouts with people just like you. 

I HAVE A DISABILITY, AM I STILL ABLE TO COME?

Yes, we work with all abilities, some are physically fit and others have a variety of illnesses, disabilities or disorders. 

We would advise you to come to a workout with an instructor so they can guide you to attend the activities that are suitable for you.

I DON'T HAVE TIME?

Most of our workouts will only take 30 minutes, but if that’s too long you could choose to access our iCan at home platform anytime. Or pop in and stay for as long as you like, remember 10 minutes is better than nothing! 

I'M WORRIED ABOUT THE COST

Please don’t worry, you can choose to pay monthly for less than £1 per day, or just book the workouts that you fancy pay as you go. 

In some cases, we can offer subsidised memberships thanks to funded programmes and our Pay it forward memberships so please get in touch to find out how you might be able to access one of those.
